About
The SARA PARK ANGUS stud is based at our property βRutherglenβ, Wellingrove which is situated 23
km northwest of Glen Innes on the Northern Tablelands.
We have been breeding stud cattle since 1995 with cows and heifers purchased from leading studs within Australia. With the use of TACE, artificial insemination and buying the very best of sires, we have been able to build the stud to where it is today. Our focus is on breeding cattle for the cattleman that will perform on both grain & grass.
We also run a commercial herd of angus cattle in conjunction with the stud.
In 2019, we were able to purchase another 1200 ha which has enabled us to expand our cattle numbers using the SARA PARK genetics.
In April 2022 at the CL Squires weaner sale in Inverell, SARA PARK sold 7 to 9 months old lead steers averaging 361kg.

Our sale resulted in a complete clearance of the 41 bulls offered, selling to a top of $32,000 twice and averaged a new sale record $20,097.
